I have been studying astrology since 1974 – a story too long to tell here. But for as long as I can remember I have been asking the sky, the trees, Mother Nature and my own heart, “what is this place?, why am I here”. Life, time and astrology have given me some answers, not all. I love astrology so much because no matter how much I study, there is always more to learn. There are many branches and layers and rabbit holes that have kept me inspired and sometimes gobsmacked.
I am happy to be retired from the workaday world so that I can focus on my true passions – astrology, gardening, singing and healing. I always wanted a little cabin, a little garden and lots of time to study. Sounds simple – well, let’s just say it has been quite a journey, but, knock on wood, I seem to be here at last. My next mission is to become the lupin lady of Pinecone Lane.
I am a Sagittarius with a splay chart. That means I try lots of things and have skills in many fields. I have studied many healing modalities, meditations, diets and substances. Right now I am very partial to Shungite for purification and protection, food as medicine, electroculture and structured water.
I am so grateful for my family, my sweet home, wonderful community and good health. Because of these, I can now offer to clients whatever guidance and skills I have learned over the years.
Timing is everything, so they say. It’s a bit like double dutch skipping. Get with the rhythm, pick your spot, then jump!
In my life I have experienced many challenging and inspiring planetary aspects and I know what they feel like. In my astrology readings, I try to come from a place of embracing the whole self with love and understanding. The charts can show you your past, your strengths and weaknesses, compatibilities and development over time. You might have questions like why do I always do that? Or when should I make this change? It is possible to drill down and understand better your birth, your relationships, family or vocation. As the world turns, we change and so does the zodiac. Astrology can help with navigating the low energy and highly active times. I feel incredibly grateful to have this time on earth to learn, experience and hopefully make a difference. I want to make the best choices with my life stream and astrology helps me to ride the waves of energy and not try to push the river. It is desirable to be at cause, not at effect. Knowing that you are in alignment with the changing tides helps you to take charge of your life and find the confidence to be authentically yourself. Sometimes there are bumps in the road. It is comforting to have a bird’s eye view and not let your mind take you to places of blame or self-doubt. Occasionally the bumps are really big. The charts can answer questions about why things happen, what we missed or how to change. In hard times, the most comfort that astrology can offer is the knowing that this too shall pass.
