Deep Change

Deep, lasting change takes time. That sentence, translated in astrology speak would be: deep (Pluto) lasting (Saturn) change (Uranus) takes (mars) time (Saturn). In November ’24, just a year ago, Pluto arrived in Aquarius to stay. Only then could we say goodbye to the sign of established control that is Capricorn. Since 2008, Pluto had excavated his way through the vaults, concrete, thrones and neckties of the elite. Now that Pluto transits the sign of change, networks, community, innovation and upgrades, we are finally seeing glimpses of new technology, reform and revolution. Not fast enough for ya? Hold onto your hats.

Saturn likes to be in charge. He is all about rules and regs, form, discipline, responsibility. His current position in the late degrees of oceanic Pisces is uncomfortable for him. For people experiencing Saturn in Pisces affecting their charts, the rules seem fluid, the boundaries flexible, the plans are nebulous. The authorities are slipping, casting doubt, losing credibility. Saturn is retrograde right now, until end of November, so the experience might be quite personal – perhaps a review of your inner line in the sand.  Saturn is the form, the edge and foundation, so it can represent the skin, hair, bones and teeth. If this is the 6th house, all of these features can be dissolving or creating a health mystery while Saturn is in Pisces. Watch for receding gum line, falling hair, bone loss, etc. Saturn can also be interpreted as the manifester. By using the visualization and spiritual intention of Pisces, you can use the building blocks of Saturn to create forms and boundaries and structures. He loves regimens, schedules and fasting. Saturn will be in Pisces until February 14th, 2026.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces. Neptune and Saturn have been travelling together in Pisces since early 2023. Neptune increases the deception and doubt and has been casting a shroud on our reality since early 2012. Saturn is where the rubber meets the road. Neptune dissolves and washes out the road. So how confused are we now? What’s really true? The thing about Pisces is that you can draw a line in the sand, but the ocean will do what it does. So there may not have been a definite event, but rather a more personal, inner shift. Looking back, I think that Neptune in Pisces has been a time of reconnecting with knowings, gut feelings and intentions on a soul level. Sometimes at a loss for answers, I have needed to rely on intuition and instinct.

I hope I have sufficiently conveyed that Saturn and Neptune are strange bedfellows. Anyone feeling wary or uncertain in these times is definitely getting the vibe. The last time that Saturn and Neptune got together was in 1989, when the Berlin wall came down. What a perfect metaphor for Saturn (the wall) and Neptune (disappear). This time, the incompatible duo will join hands at the 0 point of Aries. Neptune enters on January 27, 2026 and Saturn on February 14, 2026. They are exactly conjunct on February 20, 2026 at 0 Aries.

0 degrees Aries, the first degree of the zodiac is the vernal equinox, when day and night are equal. It is the slight pause between the in breath and the out breath, the ending and the beginning. It is the time to start anew. Spring. These 2 planets arriving at this degree at virtually the same time is epic. In their highest octave Saturn is the manifestor and Neptune is spirit. From that time, as we leave the fogginess of Pisces behind, there will be action, acceleration, newness and clarity. Aries is sparky and capable, first in line, waiting for no one.

Recap: Pluto, the great wrecking ball is newly into Aquarius, an air sign. Saturn and Neptune are soon to be in Aries, a fire sign. Uranus is currently retreating back into Taurus, but as of april 26/26, he will be in Gemini, an air sign. These are the 4 outermost planets in our solar system. They comprise the backdrop, the stage setting, the green screen of our reality. Is it flat earth, the Truman Show, a hologram? Keep in mind that these planets have been in elements of earth and water for many years. Earth and water makes mud, air and fire are alchemical, bringing rapid change, sometimes into something completely different. The old ways of stability and tradition will fall away. The questions and mysteries will make way for revelation and disclosure. New ways of thinking and communicating will be possible. If we do not fall prey to AI and fake news, there is great potential for expansion in consciousness.

Between now and February 20 we are in a rare opportunity of personal growth. While our collective consciousness and soul patterns are in flux, we can use this time to set intentions, clear up boundaries and personal goals, question authority and belief systems, find forgiveness and let go of the past. The final few degrees of Pisces are especially merky and full of debris, flotsam and jetsam. Bits of sketchy integrity and suspicions all float to the surface for examination. Each of us has a piece of the puzzle to define and make shiny and new. Beyond the confines of Saturn – the last planet visible with the naked eye – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto carry energies as yet unseen. They can connect us with information, options and panacea that are currently outside of our purview. Until now, Saturn has been projecting the control matrix. Saturn in Aries is “in fall”. He is weakened in Aries and impressionable. Legacy media, politics, the education and the legal system are on shaky ground. We can each, with our own personal process, create a new reality borne of authenticity, clarity and personal integrity. Depending on where 0 Aries is in your chart, the house position will be the part of your life under renovation.

The Schumann resonance and our individual nervous system have been erratic and up tempo, anticipating change. With the breath and focus in the now, we can practice transforming anxiety into excitement. It is a challenging time. I feel in my heart that it is what we came to do. In concert with Mother Earth we have the ability to tune to true pitch – 432 hertz. Toning in this frequency resonates with nature and the universe.

Pluto can be intensely emotional, power-hungry and secretive. At the same time Pluto is rebirth and transformation.

Neptune rules addiction, deception, self-sacrifice, but also psychic awareness, devotion and mysticism.

Uranus is about shocks, break-ups, technology and at the same time community, networking and electrical energy.

Saturn is control, confinement and fear. It can be building, taking responsibility and standing up for a cause.

Being authentic is hard work and takes courage. The timing is conducive right now to looking inward and doing some housekeeping. The days are shorter, nights are colder. Mercury will be retrograde until the end of the month. We all have busy lives and many distractions. If you make a point of spending some quality time in the inner realms, I think you will thank yourself later.
